At the core of our diagnostic centre is the Virtual Autopsy Scanning Unit (VA-SCAN), which features a high-performance CT scanner, integrated data storage, and a fully equipped workstation to enable rapid whole-body imaging and diagnostics. Complementing the scanning capabilities is our Body Storage Module (VA-BSTORE), a dedicated cold storage facility capable of housing up to 40 bodies while maintaining optimal preservation standards. Together, these advanced modules ensure that facilities can handle forensic diagnostics with unprecedented speed, dignity, and technological precision.
A Complete Solution for Modern and Traditional Forensic Practice
For traditional forensic practices, our system also includes the Classical Autopsy Unit (VA-CTOPSY), seamlessly integrating conventional methods alongside modern virtual diagnostics. This module is equipped with up to six post-mortem tables and is optimised to support traditional autopsies, external examinations, and minimally invasive procedures with maximum efficiency. By offering a complete suite that bridges the gap between advanced imaging and traditional pathology, the Virtual Autopsy After Death Diagnostic Centre delivers a holistic and adaptable solution for the evolving demands of forensic medicine.
